About Melanie Martinez
Melanie is the Client Care Assistant at Baggett Law Personal Injury Lawyers and a proud Jacksonville native with a passion for serving others. As a Mexican American who speaks both English and Spanish, she is dedicated to helping clients feel understood and supported, especially those who may face language barriers.
Melanie earned her bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of North Florida with minors in Spanish and criminal justice. She is currently pursuing her Master of Science in Criminal Justice at UNF while working full-time at Baggett Law. Her commitment to education and representation in professional spaces reflects her compassion for others.
Outside the office, Melanie enjoys dancing Mexican folklorico, a passion that led to her feature in the Downtown Jacksonville Visitors Brochure (2024). She also volunteers with military organizations and enjoys thrifting, cooking, traveling, giving back to her community, and watching Dancing with the Stars.
Melanie is married to her husband, Jomar. They share their home with their Labrador Retriever, Chloe, and their Betta fish, Milo.
