About Chase
Chase Skorupa is a personal injury attorney at Baggett Law Personal Injury Lawyers. As a former collegiate athlete, he brings a tenacity and competitive drive to achieving the best possible outcome for each of his clients. His legal experience allows him to formulate winning game plans in each case to counteract the strategies employed by insurance carriers and defense law firms.
Experience
Chase began his legal career working as a defense counsel for some of the largest corporations, insurance carriers, and healthcare providers in Florida. He defended actions involving auto negligence, premises liability, medical malpractice, and wrongful death claims. This experience gives him unique insight into how to best counteract the common practices employed by insurance carriers against those seeking justice for their injuries. Knowing how the other side thinks means that Chase’s clients get the best advice on how to maximize the value of their injury case and minimize the time it takes to reach a winning result.
Background
Chase was raised in South Florida before moving to the Hudson Valley in New York to play college lacrosse at Bard College. While at Bard, Chase participated in a Russian language exchange program with St. Petersburg State University, spending six weeks in St. Petersburg, Russia. After graduating with a degree in mathematics, Chase completed a joint J.D.-M.A. degree program at The George Washington University Law School and the Elliott School of International Affairs in Washington, D.C. After graduation, Chase returned to Florida to begin his legal career.
As a young lawyer from a long line of attorneys, he has been surrounded by the principles of law and justice his entire life. Growing up in a family deeply committed to the legal profession, he gained a unique perspective on the importance of ethical representation, client advocacy, and the important duty that comes with practicing law and representing the injured. This unique upbringing shaped his passion for helping our clients and their families navigate challenging times. Chase takes pride in using his perspective and experience to make a meaningful difference when it matters most.
Outside of the office, Chase is an avid fisherman and golfer. He also enjoys camping and spending time at the beach.
