About Kristie

Kristie Schrader is a trial attorney at Baggett Law Personal Injury Lawyers with more than 25 years of litigation experience in Florida. As a member of the prestigious American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), Kristie is recognized by her peers as a highly skilled and ethical advocate committed to upholding the integrity of the civil justice system.

Kristie’s legal career has evolved with purpose. After decades of defending insurance companies and corporations, she experienced a life-changing family tragedy in 2021 that shifted her perspective and ignited her passion for helping people. It was then she found her true calling—representing injured plaintiffs and their families. Today, she brings unmatched determination, deep empathy, and a strategic mindset to every case she handles at Baggett Law.

Kristie is known for being a commanding presence in the courtroom and a steady, reassuring advocate for clients throughout their legal journey. Kristie’s trial skills are sharp, persuasive, and backed by years of hands-on experience. Her drive to achieve justice is personal, and it shows in the results she secures.

Experience

Prior to joining Baggett Law Personal Injury Lawyers, Kristie was a partner at Boyd & Jenerette, P.A., where she represented commercial trucking companies, corporations, and insurance companies. Kristie also has experience working as an in-house trial counsel for Nationwide Insurance Company.

Kristie’s extensive experience in defense work gives her a unique and invaluable perspective when representing our clients. Her expertise allows her to anticipate the strategies and tactics used by opposing counsel and insurance companies. Kristie’s first-hand knowledge of the defense playbook assists us in creating a winning game plan in every case she handles.

Born and raised in northern Alabama, Kristie spent childhood vacations in Florida dreaming of one day making the Sunshine State her home. After completing law school in 1999 at the University of Alabama, she moved to Jacksonville and has called it home ever since.

Outside of the office, Kristie can usually be found at a ball field or other athletic event, cheering on her three wonderful children.
