Previously, Amanda was a shareholder at Rogers Towers where she handled complex litigation cases. At Baggett Law, Amanda’s leadership and strategic vision for the firm have played a pivotal role in driving the firm’s success. Together, Amanda and Matt are dedicated to achieving outstanding results for their clients in the shortest amount of time possible.
Outside of the office, Amanda dedicates her time to organizations that prioritize the needs of children and families in our community. Amanda leads Baggett Law’s annual Back-to-School Backpack Drive for local children in the community, and she regularly serves as pro bono legal counsel for families in need. She has served on various local boards and committees, including MOSH, the Early Learning Coalition of Duval, the Jacksonville Bar Association, and Jacksonville Country Day School.
Born in Hannibal, Missouri, and raised near Atlanta in Marietta, Georgia, Amanda attended the University of Georgia, where she earned a degree in advertising. She went on to earn her law degree at Mercer University in 2003. During law school, Amanda broadened her legal education by attending classes at the University of Florida’s Levin College of Law and the University of Notre Dame in London.
Amanda is a devoted mother to four children, including a set of twins. When not advocating for her clients, Amanda enjoys spending time with her family.
Amanda is not only a personal injury attorney, she is also an expert in construction law. This unique background gives her specialized expertise in cases involving roadway design and construction issues. Prior to joining Baggett Law Personal Injury Lawyers, Amanda spent many years working as defense counsel for engineers and contractors in personal injury and wrongful death cases arising from car accidents on Florida roadways.
Amanda is a leading female attorney in Northeast Florida. A longtime advocate of women’s rights and advancement, she is a member of the Jacksonville Association of Women Lawyers and the Florida Association of Women Lawyers.
Amanda received an AV Preeminent rating by Martindale-Hubbell, an honor given to only 10% of all attorneys. She has been named to the Super Lawyers List every year since 2009, and repeatedly recognized for excellence in her profession by Florida Trend Magazine. Amanda is Board Certified in Construction Law by The Florida Bar.
Locally, Amanda has served on various boards and committees, including the Jacksonville Bar Association’s Construction Law Committee, the Fourth Judicial Circuit’s Unlicensed Practice of Law Committee, the Early Learning Coalition of Duval, Jacksonville Country Day School and Deermeadows Preschool.
